Sarah Phillips Pellet, originally from Massachusetts and Maine, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Rutgers University. She has been a business writer throughout most of her career and is now an author with Lake House Books.

Sarah is married and she lives with her husband, children, and their dogs in New Jersey. She is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
